His husband Fernando Poe Jr. unfortunately died in 2004. She was featured in many movies like Nasaan Ka nang Kailangan Kita? and Sineserye Presents: Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara. She made her debut in the 1953 film Mga Bituin ng Kinabukasan at age of 9. She was a child artist and loved doing movies and cultural activities. She was an advocate for her own better half, who was going for the position of president in the 2003 Philippine presidential election but unfortunately later died because of a heart stroke in December 2004.

She played famous roles like Amelita Manalastas and Aurora “Aura” Castilleja’s.She was a really exceptional performer and she started doing entertainment at such a young age she quickly made millions of admirers and she was featured in many award shows and famous programs. Adopted a child and she also has some relatives in the entertainment industry who are doing a great job.
