Who Was Chris Copeland?
Chris Copeland, a 26 years old young man was charged with the murder of the store clerk and he is charged with capital murder. As per the statements given by the police, Chris tried to rob the store on the day of the murder that is on Sunday and later he shot and killed the clerk of the store, Parmvir Singh, aged 33 years. Parmvir was shot in his head brutally and he succumbed to his injury. The prosecutors while explaining and presenting the case said that Chris was trying to enact like he was purchasing something and at that time Parmvir was at the counter when Chris threatened Parmvir, he summoned and was ready to give all the cash from the drawer but Chris jumped on the counter and shot Parmvir.

After killing Parmvir, Chris ran away after finding out about the surveillance camera. Chris asked parmvir to bend down when he shot him and it hit him hard on the back of his head brutally, which left no chance of him being alive. Police officer John said in his statements that it was the worst that he has ever seen because the victim was shot at the back of his head where he was trying to save his life. The case was bought to the limelight when Chris was ultimately caught and the police multiple stories from their side describe how brutally Chris shot Parmvir and how the case was not just robbery but a brutal murder even after trying to give away the money.

Chris was not new to this criminal world, earlier as well Chris was involved in crimes and he has a criminal history as per many of the sources and the officers who caught him after Parmvir’s murder. It was revealed in the prosecution that earlier as well Chris was involved in many burglaries and larceny charges and he was not new to this addiction to robbing others. As per many sources, Chris was denied of a bond and on Sunday he was free on MDOC probation at the time of the arrest. He also had an outstanding warrant as well. Chris’s habit of robbing and burglary was widely described in the prosecution but until now the court has not passed any judgment.
