Police this morning arrested the driver responsible for a skyway bridge accident that occurred yesterday. The driver has been identified as Kristen Watts of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The suspect is currently being held at state detention facility on charges of Driving with a Suspended License, and Reckless Driving. As you may have heard, a van driver is responsible for the accident that caused the Skyway Bridge in Florida to collapse. The driver who caused the bridge accident has been identified as Kristen Watts. Ms. Watts caused the accident by hitting another vehicle and then running into the support cables for the bridge, resulting in it collapsing into Tampa Bay. Fortunately no one was injured in the accident, but it seems Ms. Watts was impaired at the time of the accident. Kristen Watts is the woman responsible for a horrific accident on the Skyway Bridge. The news reported that a car was going at an excessive speed when it struck a guardrail twice before careening off of the platform and plunging into thewater below. Traffic began backing up quickly, with more and more vehicles joining in to try and figure out what happened, as well as see if they could help the poor souls who had been in the car — all while dealing with a near standstill themselves.
