Art Brewer Death Reason
As per the reports, a go fund page was also established for the medical expenses and his betterment expenses online. This page was set up for Brewer back in July 2022 when he was hospitalized and was receiving a liver transplant, it was mentioned that he was at UCLA since September receiving treatments. The family in their post mentioned that he went through a total of surgeries for his transplant and for his liver as well and that he remained in the ICU for many days. It was also mentioned that Art was healing as well but there were certain drawbacks like infections which were getting his condition back.

The family members in their post added that Brewer was a fighter. He was a photographer who took many legendary photos and clicked Gerry Lopez, Tom Curren, and Kelly Slater as well in his career. He also shot pictures for surfing magazines and also for various championships as well. Tom Servais while speaking about Brewer added that he is the best-ever photographer in surfing. Brian Bielman said that the GOAT of surf photography passed away last evening and that Brewer will always be his hero. Briana said that Brewer will always be his favourite and that he taught him the beauty of what god has created and who to give it back to through the camera lens.

JP Van Swae is also a photographer who along with Brewer used to teach classes for photography every year in Puerto Rico. JP while speaking about Brewer added that he was someone who was gruff with you and he was a person who has his wife and his daughter’s love with him. JP added that he cannot explain how much he was loved by Brewer and that he will always be his friend. He was a person who would do sea aesthetic pictures and many of his pictures were on the front page of magazines for the beauty that he sued to capture through his lenses. His work was often mesmerizing and appreciated by many people. Brewer was titled was the most naturally gifted photographer and he was also an American photographer who was prominent during the 70s, 80s and 90s a swell who left many photographers behind and also did many commercial works. His works were portraits and he had immense control over the exposure moos and texture of the photograph. He had an eye for colour and framing in the surf industry. Brewer was 6’4 and he would move away from all of the crowd and use his timing to the pictures of his surfing models. JP added in his post that he learned from Brewer in the early 2000s and his love began for photography.
